This California Department of Real Estate (DRE) registration application is for use under the Military Spouse Licensing Relief Act of 2023.

Under the act, if an active-duty servicemember or their spouse is professionally licensed in another state, district, or
territory of the United States and relocates to California due to military orders, their license will be considered valid in
California at a similar scope of practice for the duration of the military orders provided they meet the eligibility criteria
set forth below.

The registrant must have actively used their license during the two years immediate preceding the relocation required by the military orders.

There is NO FEE required for this registration.

Registering with DRE will allow the registrant to conduct licensed real estate activity in California for the duration of the deployment in California,
so long as the real estate license(s) in the home jurisdiction(s) remains in good standing.

Non-broker registrants (Salespersons) will be required to be supervised by a California Real Estate Broker.

Registration is required in your legal name. Discrepancies between the name on this application, the name on your documents, and your legal name will
cause processing delays.

Your California Address of Record will be public information and will be posted on DRE’s website, and will be available from DRE via a download,
telephone, or written request. Please consider this when identifying a mailing address.

Written verification or documentation printed from an online licensing system for the registrant's original licensing jurisdiction stating
that the license is in good standing in that jurisdiction.

For Spouses: Evidence that the applicant is married to, in a domestic partnership with, or in a legal union with a servicemember who is
subject to a military order.

If licensed in more than one jurisdiction within the same professional discipline, the registrant must submit written verification from each
jurisdiction stating that the license is in good standing in that jurisdiction.

Main Office Address (No Postal Mailboxes)
For broker registrants, enter your primary business location (a California address) at the time your license will be issued. If a street address is unavailable,
indicate the physical location; use the nearest intersection and the distance to it. A post office box number alone is not acceptable.
Your main office address is public information and as such is posted on the Internet and available from DRE via telephone and written request.
Broker/Corporation information
For non-broker registrants, enter the license information for the California real estate broker/corporation who will be responsible for
supervising your real estate activities while practicing in California.
